Free Zones Scheme
The Ghana free zones scheme is an integrated programme to promote processing and manufacturing of goods through the establishment of export processing zones (EPZs). The scheme seeks to remove the frustrations that investors who have funds to invest encounter in the establishment of their businesses and encourages the development of commercial and service activities at seaport and airport areas.
Some of the activities available for consideration by prospective investors in the Metropolis are textile manufacturing, leather wears, manufacturing of rubber products, car assembling, glass manufacturing and gas production, among others. |
